How it all started

Stroppiana Ortrofrutticoli S.p.A. is a historical company in the Piedmont area, specialized in the distribution of high quality vegetables and fruit in the B2B sector. It supplies restaurants, schools and company canteens with difficult to find organic, zero-kilometre products.

The solution

The goal was to create a high-profile, agile “e-commerce” brand.

A strategic analysis, using data-driven growth hacking techniques, led to the choice of a new B2C service name and the definition of graphic guidelines and positioning.

 The COVID-19 emergency accelerated the launch of the new service online, with a campaign focused on emergency support to strengthen the connection with the local community. Synesthesia implemented geolocated, digital, and local print communication campaigns with specific promotions to support the proximity market.

Special attention was given to the checkout and payment methods, designed to accommodate a less tech-savvy audience.

Results

Revenue from sales in the first few months of activity significantly exceeded the investment made to develop the entire project, with a good conversion rate for online transactions.

Excellent results were also recorded for the ROAS (Revenue from campaign/Cost of campaign) of Google Ads campaigns. Pomodoor’s B2C initiative allowed the company to continue activities across various areas, even during the pandemic context.
