How it all started

MySenso is an Italian company active since 1997 in the production of fine fragrances for the home, workplace, spa & wellness centres.
The MySenso brand stands out for the superior and certified quality that it guarantees with its products, respecting European safety standards and paying particular attention to sustainability through the optimised use of resources, as well as the authenticity of Made in Italy.

The MySenso brand, already established in the B2B market, undertook a strategic restyling of its B2C property to bring its eCommerce in line with industry best practices, with the aim of improving the usability and satisfaction of its users, thereby increasing conversions.

MySenso needed a partner with vertical expertise and experience in the eCommerce world who, by becoming an active part of the project, would be able to support the brand in:

  • the definition of the design strategy of a new eCommerce ecosystem that would allow a digital positioning at the top of the sector;
  • the creation of a roadmap of the initial project, based on constant performance analysis and step-by-step implementations;
  • the management of the eCommerce platform through the automation of operational flows.

The solution

With the collaboration and strategic and operational support of Antonella Girone Dwayofthinking, brand consultant for the realisation of an integrated B2B and B2C project, Synesthesia Commerce was chosen as B2C technical partner and the Shopify platform.

Based on the requirements of the project, the dedicated internal resources and the client’s wishes, the platform was migrated from Shopware to Shopify, to guarantee simplicity in the shop management processes for the internal team and scalability of the business.

The project therefore developed through the following activities:

  • customisation of the eCommerce layout according to the assets and branding objectives;
  • store development, replatforming and migration;
  • implementation of the main strategic assets useful for the eCommerce strategy and scalability;
  • development of connection flows with the company management system for the automation of catalogue and order processes;
  • training on the platform.

After the go-live Synesthesia Commerce ensured timely support to the customer in case of maintenance work, requests for changes and shop evolutions through the IT support service and an ongoing relationship for the continuous growth of MySenso’s online business.

Results

As of October 2024 of the new site, the customer has observed

  • the standardisation of internal processes, thus a rationalisation of internal effort;
  • a positive trend in e-commerce KPIs (turnover, orders, conversion rate).
