How it all started

Already supported for management activities and IT flows, the customer Goccia Spa entrusted the Synesthesia Commerce team with the restyling of the Joy Gioielli online shop, integration with the company’s ERP system and strategic consulting.

Confirming Shopify as the eCommerce platform of choice, Synesthesia is working with the client on several fronts:

  • Revamping the front-end of the site, aligning the look and feel with branding strategies and best practices for eCommerce in general and the jewellery market in particular.
  • Simplify back-end workflows to streamline internal operations.
  • Develop integration between the eCommerce platform and the company’s ERP system, restructuring technological workflows.
  • Define, integrate and develop eCommerce assets and strategies to achieve business objectives.

The solution

In response to the growing need to optimise operations and improve the user shopping experience, Goccia Spa commissioned Synesthesia Commerce to transform the Joy Gioielli online shop.

The project aimed to achieve the following objectives:

  • Restyling the graphic layout and front-end UI components.
  • Improve front-end performance, focusing on navigation to improve the user experience (UX).
  • Analysing data and developing e-commerce strategies to optimise conversion rate (CRO) and achieve business objectives.
  • Reduce third-party and operational costs by simplifying customised back-end workflows.
  • Integrate the e-commerce platform with the ERP system.

Results

Significant improvements were made to optimise the user experience (UX) throughout the site, making the purchasing process more pleasant and intuitive. Improvements made to the back-end of the site made eCommerce management more efficient, such as simplifying and standardising product loading processes, reducing the time spent on data entry and support. This allowed the client to focus more on customer service and growth strategies.

In summary, Joy Jewellery’s updated website represents a significant step towards a more efficient and user-friendly platform. It not only streamlines internal operations, but also improves the customer experience, strengthening the brand’s position in the jewellery market.
