How it all started
In 2021, pandemic-related restrictions pushed IAAD in Turin to carry out its academic orientation activities entirely online. For years, IAAD Infoday has been a unique opportunity for discussion, participation, and sharing knowledge for future aspiring designers and communication experts.
The Synesthesia Events team was involved in creating a new format capable of adapting to the circumstances and effectively presenting the academic offerings to prospective students, garnering great participation and enthusiasm.
The solution
Thanks to the technological solution provided by Synesthesia Events, it was possible to remotely offer participants the chance to connect with IAAD’s “made in design,” view the best projects by former students developed in collaboration with companies, and much more.
Creating such an important event required perfect organization and planning of resources, content, and tools. The event’s direction was managed entirely remotely in close collaboration with the client.
Results
A two-hour live stream on IAAD’s YouTube channel, with 8 speakers and 10 presentations, facilitated the participation of over 250 users. Attendees were also able to schedule individual in-depth meetings with the academic orientation office representatives.
All objectives set by IAAD were successfully achieved: the Institute’s identity, values, and academic offerings were effectively communicated, sparking curiosity among the online audience. The orientation day also included detailed explanations about study plans, enrollment requirements, internships, and career opportunities.
The format adopted by the Synesthesia Events Team for IAAD Infoday 2021 is undoubtedly the most effective solution for any institution, school, or educational hub aiming to present its offerings to a broader audience.
