How it all started
With a decades-long presence in the international architecture and interior design markets, Ceramiche Refin offers a wide and modern range of porcelain stoneware solutions for the contract and residential sectors. Part of the Concorde Group – the world’s leading ceramics group – the company anticipates trends and innovations, distinguishing itself for its unique and creative approach that combines Italian style, craftsmanship, experimentation and continuous technological progress.
Through a tender aimed at identifying the ideal partner for the organisation of two inauguration evenings of the new company spaces, Synesthesia was selected to:
- Engage customers in a memorable, engaging and inclusive event;
- Effectively communicate the company’s values, with a focus on its dual identity: craftsmanship and technology;
- Present the new exhibition spaces and immerse participants in the brand new factory tour;
- Stimulate a chain reaction, encouraging guests to visit in turn.
The solution
From the definition of the concept, designed to amaze and inspire, Synesthesia, in coordination with the Marketing department, imagined Refin as a large ‘Magic Box’, capable of surprising at every moment and in every corner. A ‘Magic Box’ in which human creativity and technology converge to create new, surprising and unexpected experiences, expressed through different arts and creations.
In close and constant collaboration with the client, the Synesthesia team was involved in:
- Study and definition of the creative concept and naming of the event;
- Research and curation of unique artistic performances in line with the concept;
- Direction, management and on-site support for the entertainment and food experience;
- Selection of the marquee, furniture and lighting that perfectly complement the materials and colours of the venue;
- Logistical planning and coordination of the event’s timing;
- Supervision of all graphic design, creation of visual concepts and production of video content;
- Research, management and coordination of suppliers.
Results
Over 230 enthusiastic guests attended each evening, demonstrating a high level of professional satisfaction. A contagious word-of-mouth was evident at the Cersaie fair in the days following the events.
