ENSO LIVE

How it all started

The international group operating in the sports industry, AWE SPORT, and the Turin-based digital experience company, Synesthesia, launched ENSO Live, a sustainable, customizable, and personalized digital platform dedicated to event organizers and rights holders.

The application offers various features and solutions focused on live streaming and gamification, aimed at expanding the experience of sports fans beyond the boundaries of space and time.

The solution

The platform’s goal is to digitize fan engagement and enhance the live experience during and after the event.

A timeline allows users to save the most interesting events in their calendar, personalizing the experience with dedicated content (video-on-demand, photos, streaming, audio podcasts, PDFs). Thanks to the app’s reminder feature, users can also access individual events via live streaming. The calendar is cross-event: users can follow multiple events within ENSO Live and seamlessly switch between them.

Event organizers can customize individual pages with sponsors (featuring a dedicated area) and a schedule that enables the management of live event bookings. 

The app includes customizable gamification elements: within specific events, users can perform actions and participate in daily challenges to earn experience points (KŌI, the virtual currency to be spent during events).

Results

Used for the first time in November 2021 during the Nitto ATP Finals, the app has been downloaded by over 2,000 people and has broadcast 8,700 minutes of streaming and images. It also sparked significant engagement on social media, with broad coverage extending beyond institutional profiles. The hashtag #torinosomuch generated 5,500 interactions, reaching over 228,000 people and receiving more than 5,000 likes—figures that continue to grow.
