How it all started<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SpesaSospesa<\/strong> is a platform born out of the shared commitment of Synesthesia<\/strong> with Regusto<\/strong>, Foodchain<\/strong>, Sorgenia<\/strong>, slowfood<\/strong>, Impact<\/strong> Hub Torino<\/strong>, Rekordata<\/strong> s.r.l, Charitystars Italia<\/strong> and the artist\u2019s initiative Serena Rossi<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a shared food outreach project for the purchase, sale and donation of essential foodstuffs, transforming potential food waste into a valuable aid for citizens and food companies in difficulty during the Covid-19 emergency and beyond.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The solution<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Thanks to the inclusive use of digital technology, all operations involving the recovery, purchase, and distribution of goods are traceable and transparent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monetary donations are delivered to the municipalities and organizations involved in the project, and are used to buy food at discounted prices from participating food businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The accredited network of non-profit organizations then distributes the food to those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The donation process is digitalized, recorded, and managed with full transparency through the REGUSTO<\/strong><\/a> platform<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Results<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

At the beginning of the project, municipalities such as Naples, Perugia, Alessandria, Catanzaro, and Afragola fully embraced the initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subsequently, more municipalities and associations joined, and donations on the CharityStars<\/a><\/strong> platform significantly increased.
The Municipality of Turin included the project in the Torino City Love<\/strong> portal as part of the city’s social solidarity and innovation activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
